Notice to Members

Readings of Proposed New By-laws

In accordance with Section 122.2 of the Constitution and Statutes of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, notice is hereby given that Aerie 2681 By-laws have been revised and the required three (3) readings of the newly proposed by-laws are as follows. All reading will take place during the Aerie Floor meetings on three (3) consecutive meetings. All meetings start at 7:30 PM. Please bring all questions to the designated meeting dates as noted below.

First Reading – Thursday, September 4, 2025 during the regular meeting on the Aerie Floor. This is just a reading. No comments.

​

Second Reading – Thursday, September 18, 2025 during the meeting on the Aerie Floor. This, too, is just a reading. No comments.

​

Final Reading and Vote – Thursday, October 2, 2025 during the regular meeting on the Aerie Floor. Comments and discussion and vote on adopting the revised Aerie 2681 By-laws. Once adopted by vote of the membership the proposed revised By-laws will be forwarded to the Grand Aerie for approval. New Bylaws will be in effect once signed by the Grand Aerie.

All Members are encouraged to attend the Aerie Meeting in October to vote on the proposed Bylaw changes.

Highlights to Proposed Changes

​

• Change to the day of the week and start time of Aerie meetings to Tuesdays at 7:00pm, 1st and 3rd week of the month.

• Stipend or salary allowance to the Treasurer and Auditor instead of volunteer role.
