BY LAWS  - OFFICIAL NOTICE OF Proposed updates, December 2025 from your By Laws committee 

 

1. FIRST READING: THURSDAY, DEC 18, 2025

2. SECOND READING: JANUARY 8, 2026 – new date due to Jan 1 holiday closure.

3. THIRD READING, DISCUSSION & VOTE: JANUARY 15, 2026

 

 Outline of Proposed changes: 

1)    Change Aerie meeting days from Thursday to Tuesday

2)    Change Aerie meeting start time of 7:30 PM to 7:00 PM

3)    Define schedule of Aerie meetings if they fall on a holiday. 

4)    Define number of elected Board of Trustees with option of automatically assigned positions.  

7)    Change election process of the Worthy Conductor to appointment

8)    Define Dual Members’ dues and distribution of funds.

9)    Define Secretary Assistant salary.

10)  Define Auditor salary

11)  Define Compensation Policy for employees, add Constitutional references (Sections) regarding Aerie 2681 employees and Board of Trustee responsibilities, and adhere to Washington State employment laws 

12)  Define job title and maximum weekly hours of Pull tab / Gambling Manager

13)  Add new employee: Define Hall Rental Coordinator position with duties and pay   

14)  Moved entries originally listed under MISCELLANEOUS section to the section in which they belong.
